Well, first of all thanks for explaining. I know modding and I even had a quick glance in cooperation with the Team Daidalos for an airstrip for the Italian map. So, yes I know the problems and the time it takes; I'm not asking for miracles in matter of hours.
I'm sorry if there is this frustration you talk about, but really I had no idea. I just felt disappointed for the tone of Osprey's answer, I happy to know that he's such an active member then. However, I just had a look at the link Sokol provided and I see TF is working on a Malta idea. This is what I wanted to know and obviously I'm interested in help. Thanks Continuo

My opinion.
Cliffs of Dover is the best WW2 aviation sim available. The Eastern Front sequel that will one day be available will no doubt be as good if not better. Just a thought. Maybe if Cliffs of Dover had been an expansion of il2 1946, we would all now be happy?? Best Regards, MB_Avro
