So when you go to rear gunner, change for bombardier first and then for pilot.

It is not possible ins Ju-87 and Bf-110, so you need hit Alt+F2 to "leave" the plane and go back in pilot position... Result of the damned wishes "I want take any airplane at any time..." of old UBIZ00...

Ah, that's why when flying the Bf110 my gunner was always acting as a sunday trip passenger. That thing was really making me crazy

Also to activate the nose gunner you have to go to the nose gunner position, then hit alt F2 which switches u back to pilot. Now your bombardier will man the nose gun and call out fighters.
