Looks great. Can you make also skins for S-328 from the period of Slovak National Uprising?

Its often tricky to find historically correct information but eventually I will be doing some Slovak National Uprising skins. My the current intention is to build up enough skins to start work on a campaign. Last edited by WTE_Galway; 09-24-2008 at 04:09 AM. |

Too bad we did not get the wonderful Avia model that we were told was ready to put in the game.
Nice work on that prop!

Yes, it was a great shame to waste all that work and an even greater shame because the B534 was produced in significant numbers and fought on many fronts (even attacking B17's for the Bulgarians) and deserved to be in the game. These skin sets were inspired by the wonderful Slovakia map by Jurinko Jopo and Indy which is ideal for early war combat. Aside from looking awesome it was good to see a map where the terrain actually matters. SOW and the modded BoB maps are all well and good but the terrain is little more than a gorgeously detailed background you glimpse far below you and set up screenshots on ![]() ![]() Last edited by WTE_Galway; 09-24-2008 at 04:09 AM. |

Now uploaded to Mission 4 Today :
http://www.mission4today.com/index.p...etails&id=4415 ![]() ![]() ![]() Seven different aircraft used by the Cetnicke Letecke Hlidky (Gendarme Aviation Patrol) between 1937 and 1939. The first Czech CLH squadrons were founded in 1935. They were abolished in 1939 after the german occupation. The CLH used a variety of aircraft including the Skoda D-1, Letov S-328 & S-528 and the Aero AP-32. By far the most common CLH aircraft were the Avia B-534 and Bn534. The first Avia was recieved in 1937. The CLH had 26 of these aircraft. Featured Aircraft: OK-PAF (1) B534.194 ** OK-PAR (1) B534.195 ** OK-PAU (1) B534.197 ** OK-PAV (1) B534.198 ** OK-PBA Bn-534.365 ** OK-PCU Bn-534.406 ** OK-PDA Bn-534.410 ** These aircraft were used for Border patrols and also normal police work. Cracken from the Mission 4 today forums advised of a pursuit of some escaped bandits in Trans-Carpathian region (the area of Uzhorod in the south-west part of Lvov map in Il2). A number of aircraft were intercepted and forced to land. The web site http://aces.safarikovi.org/victories...czech-30s.html lists two seperate intercepts of fw-44 aircraft and also a balloon !!! The balloon was the "Alfred Hildebrand". Dedicated as a tribute to the wonderful Slovakia map by Jurinko, Jopo and Indy. Thankyou to Cracken for historical information and useful links. Some of the layers used in these skins were from templates by Nightshifter, Frequent Flyer and Turnipkiller. Last edited by WTE_Galway; 09-29-2008 at 05:39 AM. Reason: removed images |
