Good news, it was a worry.

Is that still the BOB map?
Is anyone looking at the FSAA issue?

Major problems of CLOD (no particular order): draw distance/pop up, AI, FM (including landing physics), lack of proper (not SMAA) AntiAliasing.

I just cant imagine these being solved - as much as I'd love to be proven wrong.

Concerning AI pop up, I tried to show in my video how the pilots seat position can affect that.

No not a joke Borsch ...Airplane dot first becomes visible at about 9km stays constant, and if the pilot is seated square to the sight, the dot does not drop out of view or fade while zoomed. At about 5.65km the identification becomes visible for reading, if you fly with that difficulty setting...if you loose the dot you may be further then 9km separation, and indicates a pilot flying faster than you. If you loose the dot in the terrain then you have to decide if you want to lower your altitude (probably not worth the risk) Look for a closer target

OK I just tried the final vershion and I see that dots is all mucked up. Patch introduced bug like so many other things, the modders will sort it out!
I have a video up that shows at 9km...just another reason why I fly the early game

I think its great now... I played it when it first came out and i still remember how terrible it was. Now i find its very stable and i really enjoy playing it.

So far there are only 2 things that i don't like: The bomber gunners that are actually snipers that will chew your 300mph Spitfire on the first pass *sigh* and the stock RAF campaign.

I still think there is room for improvement, though. But as it is, its still very enjoyable.
