Same problem here.
I've sent an email to their support and received an automatic response saying that due to holidays they won't be able to respond until Jan 2nd. Gmail classified their responses as spam so I'd check there for an answer. |

Try turning off v-sync in the Options panel: fixed this issue for me at least.

When I have encountered this issue in the past it is because I am using the low power video card in the Macbook pro. Go System Preferences-->Energy Saver and then either set your Graphics Card to better performance or disable "Automatic Switching".
