Well, after that you have to fight Guilford himself, but yes.

You have a break between Eric and Guilford.

In fact, there is a glitch where you retain the mana boosts after the Eric/Ally fight so you can 'abuse' that to clear the rest of the game for MORE xp!

I'm stuck with only the main quest to do Alliance with Vikings, Elves and Dwarves. Can't advanced. The only places I didn't go (because I don't have the map) are Tugsinn and Iceland. I already speak to both kings in de alliance with Dwarves and nothing
