Whether its deserved or not, its very unlikely that CLOD will ever be open sourced as a great many of its models and content are 1C intellectual property and some of it will be migrated to the 777 engine.
Not to mention they wont want anything out that could hinder the successful take-up of BoM. So your living a pipe dream if you think CLOD will become open source in the next 10 years! Thats the reality of intellectual property law and the rules of the business jungle.. Sorry to disappoint. |
