They are VERY good but cannot be resurrected by Paladins it seems. Who else can resurrect it?

I wish they didn't change the old Crossworlds Rune Mage.

Ice Snake Spell will and so can Demonologists. Not sure about sacrifice.......

i think it still viable without the frog wife

if u have the poison dagger and demon whip(which is incredible for low level stacks in big numbers

You can get TWO of the snake rings, and the snake boots. I feel that'd allow a wizard (two artifact slots) to do some pretty insane snake things.

Actually, as a soothsayer, you can have THREE snake rings. It gives them 250% base damage, which is fairly sick. I just wish it affected their ability as well, but only regular attacks. Still, it means that Royal Snakes still have a place in my army at lvl 50 so far!

i actually haven't found any items for spiders or snakes but i do have that item that doubles thorn damage, making a dryard/faun/thorn/thorn/royalthorn army kinda cool...

except it loses morale because all those summoned stacks of thorns die and i think the way morale works on that item is anytime a stack of thorns die -morale and anytime none die in a battle +morale? not sure any confirmation?

Crown of Blackthorn. Nice item, because you can wear it to slow down the rate at which your Rage dissipates.
[I had one game where after every battle I would go over to the Hero screen and change like five different things--put on Blackthorn (to slow down Rage loss), switch to the two Gold Rings and Cloak of Archmage (higher max mana == higher mana recovered), and so on--and then *before* the next battle I would have to go through another wardrobe change to get into my action clothes (put on the Crystal Helm for damage, switch to the Rage Eater and Dead Skull instead of the Gold Rings, et cetera).]

What's the worry? All that means is that you get the opportunity to face another Keeper battle, increasing your chances for experience gain. My current game I think I'm using five (5) different things with morale-based Keeper battles: the two (2) Staves of the Great Druid (weapon) I mentioned yesterday, Tactics Treatise (artifact), Robber boots, and Cloak of the Archmage (armor). And if I could track down one or more Snake Rings, I would happily switch to those, too.

Nice combo for keeping rage/regenereting mana between battles.
As for blackthorn crown keeper battle in tL and AP/CW it gives around 400 exp so it`s not much.

WHAT? So,can Ice Snake heal Ice Dragons? If this is true, I will hate you for making me replay the game as Soothsayer (mage) .... still playing Viking/Warrior. And by hate I mean love. I need a good reason to play again.

Oh man, with Demonologist + Creation powers.... so many demons....

Is there anyway for valkyries to generate mana? Like the old Mana Accelerator?
