hmm if I understand those rumours right (and if they are true, of course), I am of the opinion that those new 'facts' might, after a transition period, actually be beneficial to CoD and the Il-2 franchise in one or another way.

If the rumors are right, the franchise is over.

Imho Ilya (Luthier) left the building direction south asia, followed by several different former coder. 1S swallows the next FlightSim Studio (-777-) who will then create a sequel, if you wanna call it like that.

Oh no. Watch. There will be a phone call made and someone will say "the cats out of the bag".

That person will wet their pants and send in the brown shirted SA forum thugs to ban and delete post in an attempt to quash this thread. But I guess it was all too predictable and I should have believed it long ago when I read it in here over a year ago that this sim was dead. How foolish I feel that I actually have to apologize to these guys that I thought all along were trolls. God do I feel dumb. Sorry chaps. But its a new day for me and I just don't care any more.

So what's the deal?

Is it just the fact that people haven't heard from the team for over two weeks and everyone's starting to panic, or do we have a legitimate question on our hands?
