I don't think experience in battles has anything to do with armies' strength. If they run, just choose to fight.

I wish. I really do. But I am seeing much different numbers when I tested it. I took weak army vs enemy invincible army and reward was great compared to the opposite.

I would love to be proven wrong to be honest. I just started a new game as skald and I was lucky enough to find in 2 chests a shield that added 300 leadership and regalia that added 200 plus 50 from bracer I am rocking almost 940 leadership at level 1 which seems crazy.

Experience is based of enemy's total leadership. So it doesn't matter if you crush them with huge army or small army, you get the same exp.

In short, playing with Skald or Soothsayer give the same exp if you crush the same enemy.

If that's really the case why not just play with an army smaller than your leadership cap?

The hero xp is the same, what differs is Rage Skills XP. Which is why Skald should have worse rage skills then soothsayer if he goes around only with full army.

It does? How do u know? It would certainly make sense coz Rage Skills level up unbearably slowly towards the end when your army is huge.

Didn't want to sound offensive sorry for this.

So, you get amount of xp based on how strong your army is compared to enemy ? I thought the xp is fixed if you chase and kill them in battle. If not, it sucks :/
