Yes the only time CLOD looks good colour wise is in the morning and evening...

During daytime it looks terrible!!

I'm afraid that I agree with mcFly.
I have always felt that the CoD colour palette is too bright/luminous.
It should be darker and less stark.

As Anders And says the colours are better early and late but then that is the way it is in real life. Although it probably could look a bit better mid day in game, photographers try to avoid working at this time because colours tend to look flat and washed out especially with any degree of haze.

Beside the fact that your new look has way to strong red hue, that doesn't fix anything. That's just a filter thrown over everything. Just like puting on your sun glasses and saying the color of the world changed.
