How many users have SLI/Crossfire?

How many users here with dual cards have experienced this phenomenon?

I have dual 580s and never experienced any stutter. SLI is working for me fairly good now although no noticeable jump in FPS. 2D sprites like dust, smoke, explosions and grass can be a big FPS hit, not sure why that is ?????
