Couldn't agree more about the propeller flicker, looks awful and is just plain wrong.

I can remember that in early versions no propeller had been visible. Imho a good choice to make it visible. Can't remember it is so annoying, have to pay attention next time i'm on.
But the sound of the propeller doesn't work properly, isn't audible till the rmp are high enough.

The vid you linked shows more flicker than the game?! Which contradicts what you said...

You seem to over simplify the problem.

On my system the prop is completely invisible at cruising RPM when flying into the sun and when flying away from the sun the yellow tips especially can be seen. But I can only see the prop flicker when the sun is directly behind me. As in a dive with the sun behind me.

This is the best it has looked to me. I was just trying the new patch... I took off flying into the orange morning sun and I could not see the prop at all. Nothing! Not even the faintest hint of a flicker. And it surprised me to see this thread saying flicker is too much !?

There seems to be too many variables , the angle of the sun the amount of light, the rpm, graphics card , frame rate, V sync on/off...

I'm just not seeing what you are seeing.

Salute

Yes, get rid of this. I have talked to quite a number of WWII fighter pilots, and none mention any thing about prop flicker being noticeable.
