Water radiator perforated and you can fly for a long time at reduced power. Engine will seize eventually although temps will not increase (Bug?).
Water jacket perforated and you only have a few minutes before engine damage. Also, don't pretend this is a 109 only problem. Untold number of Spitfires I have seen streaming water from that starboard wing radiator and they fly around just as long.
