I think that we are so rude online because we are really rude, specially in our thouths, and really hypocrite, specially in our real lifes.
Write to someone is very different than speak to someone, write to someone that can't see your face is an unnatural way of communicate.
Face and body motion are the most communicative ways of expression for humans and all the other animal races, without them there's a lack of information about the recipient that let us be truly ourselves.
