There may not be an update, usually by now BS would have posted something.

I'm not writing this from any priviledged information. I have no idea. I am just suggesting not to go orbital if there is no update.

I will sure be glad when I can post my "Happy patch day video". LOL
With all the "I may have news in a few days", "sorry, nothing to report now" or "RC patch maybe soon possibly" etc I just feel, why bother? Just release the patch when it's ready whenever that is. I like updates but they have been so unsubstantial lately that I -at least- don't take them seriously nor do I care. I'm just logging in each day to see if the "retail patch released" thread has been created yet.

I hope the retail patch as some major fixes in it and it's not just a correlation of what as been done previously, I know we have had a few beta patches but most have not really been a step forward, they have just fixed what the previous patches broke. Let's hope that the final patch fixes a lot issues, non least than the netcode.

http://bobgamehub.blogspot.dk/p/clif...er-review.html

"In my original review I wrote "Like a good wine, Cliffs of Dover can be played now, and it should get better with age." A year later, I can no longer say that, because so little has been done to improve the game's performance faults, and nothing has been done to add or fix the lack of gameplay content or AI for single player enthusiasts.

Rather, I would now say, you will get your money's worth if you buy it on special (which it frequently is) at a bargain price between 5USD or 10USD. See if it works for you, on your PC.

And if it does, you will then have the money to spend on the Desastersoft campaign download, which adds the game which the developers left out."

My post is true. I copied and pasted it from the review.

BTW, I get CTD every other mission since beta patch, not before. True for some not for others I guess. 60:40 as the poll shows.

Remember, this game is not allowed not to work in the eyes of some, to say otherwise is near to blasphamy.
