EDIT: For interested parties: It was a 250 kg bomb with retarded delay fuse conceived to explode several hours after impact in order to interrupt the work of firefighters and rescue workers. Their fuse was constructed in a way to prevent disarming it.

Can't even use a word correctly, with out offending...

Why would you bother blowing the thing up? They should have just used a "Safety Bucket(TM)" like they do in PNG!



Apparently it renders them perfectly safe!

I read they put sand and hay on top of it. The hay caught fire and landed on surrounding roofs causing some damage...

Who would put hay on an explosive device about to go off...
