"The final countdown" perhaps? Nuclear Carrier "Nimitz" time warping back to 1942 to defend Pearl Harbour. Tomcats against Zeros.

Perhaps in this case is the carrier "Invincible" warping from 1983 to 1940 to defend Britain from Luftwaffe's offensive. SeaHarriers against Me-109s.

ROF facts:

ROF is only patched to add new content, never to fix issues.

The only ROF issues are non game related, such as pricing, unavailability at brick and mortar stores, or no official released jet campaigns such as top gun or vietnam.

ROF bugs experienced by the dev crew are usually taken care of in office by Terminex or Orkin.
