Wolf's Channel Command mission (By me) is a very, very complicated mission with over 6500 lines of code and had 6000 objects for full emersion. Just to explain why it was pulled. The Online coding is not up to scratch to track all the AI, objects, scoring, supplies and other checks and balances that were going on that made it such an amazingly good mission (Self pat on back). The mission was fine online with 6 or so players but once you got to 16 or more, it was taking 3+ minutes to join and some could not join at all when 40 players were trying to get on. So the mission was pulled till a) Online coding is fixed b) I can remedy the situation of loading times. I chose “b”. So for the past 2 weeks I have spent about 100+ hours brining in new features and content for people that like bombing missions (Keller), but finding clever ways to reduce the load time and AI and remove 3000 lines of coding. I will pass to ATAG group to ask if they can give it one last go shortly. I am sure ATAG would love to have my mission up, but I understand that the slow loading times were not appropriate for such a popular server. My coding is complete and this week I am doing all the testing so Maybe Friday ATAG can have the mission. Your free to play my mission at about 9pm (Melbourne Australia) time each night this week. So from one point yes it was pulled and maybe it was “so complicated you cannot possibly understand". But hopefully you understand now and hopefully you get to play the mission soon also. Now where do I get these damn cookies people keep talking about?
