To both sides: Could you imagine to acknowledge faults? Reading from a neutral point, both sides are harsh and overreact quickly. Trying to figure out who is right and wrong won´t help you at the point you are. And if you aren´t trying to solve the problem between the parties, every further post is senseless as far as I see it.

I suggest you change to PM.

And Please: Now don´t say: "But he started..." okay?

Au contraire. I find ATAG to be very fun. But I can't exactly bust out my X52 at work when I want to slack off.

By all means, continue insulting the only good server (Repka is good too, but ping times are too high).

I look forward to the launch of your dedicated server. Will you post an announcement?

That's exactly right AbortedMan and don't worry about them (ATAG) too much... they are, from reading through the posts here, suffering a "Delusion of Grandeur".

The game base, for the most has been fixed, so more and more servers will come online - meaning the current ATAG server will eventually just pale into insignifigance - with them wondering wtf happened.

Actually the ATAG guys communicate a lot about the necesarry changes in missions. The problem is that all this messed up patches introduced all kind of crashes to the server. One patch you had crashes if you had too many twins together, other patches you had bad memory leaks in certain area of the map, so they had to adjust and move stuf on the map in order to keep the server playable. Actually I remember a time when we used to see very bad performance drop in the Hawkidge area. I'v e seen dosens of players in that area getting crashes en mass. There may be a reason why they had to maybe reduce the flak around certain arifields. I don't even know if that's the case, since I didn't play online for over two months.
This is just some rambling by some people that are too thick to use common sense while playing online. The server is objective oriented. As long as there are targets on the ground to be distroyed, there will be base suppression, in order to allow the strikers to fulfil their mission.
It's that simple.
