There was a guy not far from where I live who posted a youtube vid of him doing 299 km/h down the highway north of Victoria doing similar stuff.

This one gave me the willies much more than the Victoria one. You wish these guys would bounce off a stone and harmlessly (for other cars, anyways) into a ditch, but usually that's not how it happens.
