What's the problem with that? That's what radiators are good for... dissipating heat as quickly as possible. Combined with ice-cold air flowing by at several hundred mph at high alt, that sounds entirely feasible.
I haven't had any major engine problems either, when watching given limitations (max continuous rpm is 2600) and accounting for the fact that the mixture lever apparently works the wrong way (currently, forward is rich, back is weak ingame, in contrast to reality).
Didn't touch the boost c/o too much, though.
