Really hope they fix the flying though trees with this fridays patch.

Nobody said a patch would be coming this Friday, it would be nice to have the trees fixed but I'm guessing thats something for after the game works properly.

Devs are currently arguing that this is "impossible", which is ridiculous! All they need to do is have a zone around the aircraft where trees are of the same density, no matter what the "forest" setting is placed on. Beyond this zone is either nothing (forests set to off) or that green line thing that they currently use for distant forests.

Collision proximity is client side, synchronised through the server (on multiplayer another player's aircraft hitting a tree is most probably milliseconds away from crashing, so the precision doesn't have to be fantastic).
