Although these issues are appearing for you, they are not appearing for me. I havn't had one launcher crash and played tons of QMB. Also the mission where hurricanes intercept JU87's as the head over england I can EASILY catch up with the 87's. The problem is lingering behind them.

Have you followed BlackDogs steps to prepare your install for the latest beta?

Hey SlipBall,

The game runs well on my system but I'm getting the launcher crash when closing the program or when loading a quick mission after having completed a previous mission. A restart sorts this out...but a bit weird, its also intermittent which doesnt help track it down either.

System Specs
AMD FX-1400 X4 3.6ghz
Asus m5N78L MB
8 gb Corsair 1600MHz CL9 DDR3
Win 7 64bit.
Nvidia GTX560

Beta drivers can play tricks. I would exclude that they implemented the simulation of the pilot's eyelids.

Strange you should be fine by that system, I would suspect another program...be sure to send in a crash/dump to devs

Any of you with a crash on launch,

If you receive a crash due to CLR20r3 (not Appcrash):

* Verify Integrity in steam (reverts to last official)
* RUN THE GAME WITH LAST OFFICIAL VERSION (This installs several things that won't run if you install the beta patch straight away!)
* Install beta patch and play!

S!

Steuben, no problems with Catalyst 12.7 official betas and 12.7 Cap 1. I get too the launcher.exe crash when exiting the game, not during gameplay. But what I have noted which is pretty annoying is that trees when flying at low altitude sometimes appear only close to you within this "Ring of LOD". I mean some trees, not all as most of them for sure are there. Easiest this can be seen when taking late afternoon QMB and wathing it happen as shadows reveal it pretty easily.

Will do, thanks SlipBall,

odd though...I've just played 6 quick missions without an issue. Maybe as suggested it was another program in the background.

All in All the patch was a big improvement for Me.

Cheers
