Nice model works, especially the 1/24 Spitfire! I love this scale.
Btw i will give you a link to my running Bf109 project - also in 1/24 from Trumpeter. Its a german forum so the report isnt in english but you can take a look at the pictures:

Since we agreed to keep scale modelling in this thread here are a couple of my latest bike builds.

Tamiya Suzuki Katana in 1/6 and 1/12 scale, if you never guessed with my user name being the same and all, I used to own the real thing in 1984.
