For me with my specs the water (ocean is the only I have checked) bounces up and down when at low altitudes. Like some parts of the wave animation is played at a higher alt than the rest. It looks really weird....

Also noticed Oil and fuel leaks are back, but no dynamic hit decals. I really miss those

BTW Tracers are great now. They can be seen from a distance and look the part! Very realistic from cockpit view I'd say!

Or it's because everyone is just sick of it and too filled with malaise to post?

Default First Look

Game runs quite smooth, I actually enjoy flying now..
  • trees appear at the very last moment, this is ugly
  • some planes don't start (controls simply don't work)
  • multiplayer spawned into another plane
  • harbour of dover appears at the very last moment, ugly as well and is not smooth
So very promising but still work to do!

Hey SlipBall,

The game runs well on my system but I'm getting the launcher crash when closing the program or when loading a quick mission after having completed a previous mission. A restart sorts this out...but a bit weird, its also intermittent which doesnt help track it down either.

System Specs
AMD FX-1400 X4 3.6ghz
Asus m5N78L MB
8 gb Corsair 1600MHz CL9 DDR3
Win 7 64bit.
Nvidia GTX560

Strange you should be fine by that system, I would suspect another program...be sure to send in a crash/dump to devs

There are big problems with the trees with the patch they are drawn only at the last moment very strange visual effect. there are also problems in the FMB with the weather effets like thunder, overcast and all the other they do not work. The flight atittude (up/down or level) indicator in the Tiger Moth still does not work. I have some crash on the desktop when leaving some missions but not allways. I had also some problems with the sound effects but only in th Spitfire MKI. The Hurricane 100 oc has the same transparent lines around the control unit.

I can't start the 100octane Hurri either.
