I hate server based games or downloads. They are nothing but problems.
Have you tried downloading with your AV software off Can't think of anything else right now. (The main reason I still play IL2:1946 is because COD and so much else simply will not work with YuPlay or Steam servers. I have loads of games I've never been able to play)
