Apart from the blury textures (which i had before to some extent, it's just that it's now more pronounced with the alpha patch), i get better performance overall in both MP and SP.

It's not that i actually get higher FPS (i'm limited by using Vsync anyway), what i get is much more stable FPS = less chance of stutters. Plus, not a single CTD while formation flying bombers and 110s on ATAG for 3-4 hours.

My specs:
i7 920 @ 2.7 GHz
3GB RAM
MSI Cyclone Ati 4890 1GB

My video settings:
Full screen mode
1680x1050 resolution
Vsync, roads, shadows, grass ON
SSAO, anti-epilepsy OFF
land shading, model detail HIGH
forests LOW
everything else MEDIUM

I haven't really experimented much, but i can confirm the lower CPU load. Previously, flying the Ju88 was putting enough strain on my CPU that it would overheat and force a reboot (i confirmed this by running monitoring/logging tools in the background). I had tried replacing my thermal paste, cleaning the cooling fans, lowering my settings and i also disabled hyperthreading in the BIOS, but it didn't help.

After the patch, i decided to specifically test this. I ended up flying Ju88s for 3 hours or so on my original settings and the problem was not there anymore.

If i get some spare time within the next couple of days i'll try changing my settings around slightly and experimenting.

If having problems, i guess the best test would be to disable what the patch notes say is incomplete and see if it solves anything. If it does, then it means we have to wait for the updated modules for these graphic elements before making a final judgement on it.
