Ermm maybe more bad news... It seems to work best in SP with no difficulties on except clouds. - Still Testing.

Lots of tools to do it are available on the net. Microsoft made one called FCIV: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/841290 A checksum is like a digital fingerprint. To put it simply: If two files are identical, they will have the same checksum. If they are not identical, they will not have the same checksum.

If 1C (or someone with a known-to-be-working copy) supplies a checksum of the patch, then you can check the file that you download to see if it has the same checksum: an easy way to tell if your file is corrupted or not.

All of this "jumping up and down and holding my breath while copying files using my left hand instead of my right" does not make any sense.

The net code is bugged, game crashes when playing online and crashes much less when playing offline.

I flew last night for quite a while with no crashes.
