Ahh, you are quite wrong, there's a fluid filled gauge, similar to a thermometer, that's clearly marked "Artificial Horizon". It only measures pitch, not roll, left center in the rear cockpit. Give it a try.

Bullet-Tracers don´t always work (invisible)

observed in Spitfire, Quick-Mission.

Can confirm it. I made a quick df mission and was 20m behind a hurricane and the plane began to smoke and then the Tracers dissapears. The plane drag left and when out of my front window the tracers where visible again

Spitfire IIa flies to different curve online to offline at full overboost and 2800 rpms. Note my attached chart in Post #6: http://theairtacticalassaultgroup.co...2238#post12238

I doubt it. As far I can see CoD only uses real cores and no the HT ones (which is good).

What isn't good is the fact these real cores (I have a I7 2600) are only 30% used and never more than that. I really doubt cpu overclocking helps CoD at this time since I've flown a few missions with my cpu only running at 2.4 Ghz and still I got avg fps ~ 40 or 45.
It's still not the cpu that's the bottleneck right for this game. It's the crippled game engine and large problems with loading and processing textures.

I ran the single mission cross country (1 plane and just a couple of objects) and the only time I got a really smooth ride was when everything was set at very low. When the Blenheim takes off at the end of the runway, some houses and few small valleys show up.

Each and every time when the Blenheim flies over this part of the landscape - and using f2 to view - long stutters start. Frames look to be skipped completely because of delays on texture loading. And what's really strange is the fact the avg fps still shows 50 fps when this happens.

Rgs,
FP

1. When using simple controls, I can not take off in Blenheim. The engines are running, but a-c can not get speed at all.
2. All cockpit textures are blurry if they are set to medium or lower. Before the patch, the most important ones (like gauge textures) were always displayed at the highest resolution. Now, setting the textures resolution below high makes no sense at all.
3. You still did not rework the low-detail ground textures which are being displayed around those with the high detail. So, below the a-c the ground textures are green, but arond the horizon they are yellow (just like before the 1.05 patch). The higher you are, the uglier it looks

Meschersmitt 109 engine seems too loud

Blenhiem machine gun (wing) has too different sounds that play when firing alternatively

Bongo was perhaps being literal and if we would decide to be, then he is right: that is technically a pitch angle indicator and not an artificial horizon.

I suspect the reason he is being technically accurate has to do with the fact that he is a pilot and they tend to keep their terminology specific, so that they know what is going on in times of emergency. I think he has even flown real Tiger Moths so he's got more first hand knowledge than anyone of us around here
