First impression:
- Little bit better fps, but far away from double. Feels Like less stuttering.
- one time the skin of the plane was not there (white)
- my pedals are not working (saitek pro pedals-will try them later on il-2 1946)
- massive building-pop-ups over cities! They`re not textured when I`m flying directly above them!
-Still shadow flickering of the trees!

I set at least everything to high/ultra(?), but the building amount to low and v-sync off and grass off. Will try more tomorrow!

A touch less FPS, but less stutters (only setting I changed was remove grass).

Sounds seem... different, like they were recorded inside the cockpit (109), but from a microphone inside a tube, almost a double echo. (I would expect a slight reverberation from the hallow cockpit and airframe, but with a clear origin sound, this is like the origin is inside a tube, and we're inside another tube, hard to explain).

Bug: Flap wheel in 109 continues to make sounds like its turning the wheel and cables are being pulled, even after fully extended or retracted. Wheel isn't turning, but its sure making a lot of screeching noises.

@Slipball: In quick mission Free flight over France, my gun counters worked fine, maybe something specific to your mission/game-installation?

Win 7
I72600k
8GB
580GPU

Slight FPS increase, maybe 5-10FPS.
More stutters low down than before but smoother dogfighting at alt.
Land textures "seem" less detailed.
Dials blurry in 109E

Particles still causing MAJOR FPS drop, down to single figures.

Not tried online yet.....withholding judgement until retail patch.

ok i seem to be the only one in my squad who have this problem:
i have no 109E4 anymore....
but i have a 109E4/b and a 109E4 B version...
the first one is supposed the normal E4 version, but it shows up as 109 E4/b, both in the plane's option menu, and in the netstats as well, but only for me.

my squadmates looked into the netstats at the exact moment, reporting they see it as used to be:109 E4

strange...

on the other subjects just like performance or flight model, i will not give a statement yet....will have to test further to build a judgement.

This is how Ju-87 cockpit looks in game. Surely something is wrong? IL-2 1946 looks better.

All caches cleared. Texture quality set to "Original".

Not sure if it is a bug, but flying at 3.00am was impossible:

Beside the things that were already mentioned:
- The weathering does not work
- The aircraft markings can't be switched off

------

Good things:
- I get higher FPS than before (everything at maximum)
- I really like the new sounds. I am doing flybys all the time.

Launched the game and got the red square at startup. Played Quick Mission Dogfight Adv Axis and got a CTD when selecting other views.
