CTD's are a strange occurrence for many here. I do not think that it is 64b OS related though. I think the answer lies with shared dll's or perhaps another program...I have never had a CTD in 64b on-line or off...if me I would try a format, and only load Clod and no other games, just as a test.

Just had a mid-air collision with a 110 in my Spitfire 1a. The 110 was totally destroyed, Spit unscathed.
Previously I experienced my Spitfires being destroyed in mid-air collisions while 109s/110s and Stukas flew on, so a definite improvement here Devs. Good work! ![]() No crashes. AA is working. Performance is better here.

Well I'm experiencing higher fps, tons of new bugs,
& THE SAME STUTTERING! Which is what annoyed me the most before. If you want me to send logs & test your game, send me a contract for my wages. Until then I'll be explaining to my sim-pilot buds that the game is still a long way off. Thanks. |

Red square on startup as saw some few others reported.
Water flat now. Was like that when originaly installed the game but with setting my g-card setting AA to overide ingame it worked, but now nomatter what i try it stays flat. Really impossible to fly over the water low as you dont se the surface and crash. Not flown online yet, so will try later if still get CTD's. Just can't fly propperly with flat water. |

Shadow flickering from trees appears worse than before and quite off putting . Also there is no longer a terrain bump map which previously added to the realism of the landscape. There is a slight improvement in FPS, but at what cost? I wonder if SpeedTree is the cause of a lot of the problems here with this sim, with so many trees to cope with and the tree movement (dynamics) to calculate, and individual shadows it must put quite a burden on the CPU.
