i discovered the reason why everybody turns left after playing rof

The spiral staircase in my old apartment spirals up to the RIGHT.

Though weirdly when you try and go down again it spirals to the LEFT.

The real question is how does the staircase KNOW whether you are going up or down and change its spiral to match.

Its a bit like how do mirrors KNOW to reflect left/right but not up/down.

Perhaps its to do with the way your DNA spirals
