Hi mate!

it seems you have installed the German language Demo Version of Channel Battles - 1940, correct? So just hit updater and all should be fine again . Reason: You have not an english Steam running. So the Language switches to German, when you have a German Demo of us installed. Dimitri is fixing it now. Hotfix via Updater in a few minutes.

I've bought the english full version (not demo) download.
When i started the game, at first all interface buttons were missing!
So i started the updater, and get all the buttons back...but in german! (as some text too, but briefings in english))

I'll try to update again tomorrow and report back...thanks for quick reply!

PS: my steam is in french.

I've just picked up the English download version and it's a very nice addition for anyone that likes CloD. Enough missions and variety to keep you going for ages.

The only slight minus points are for some dodgy translation and spelling errors in mission briefings and mission success and failure messages (post mission) still seem to be in German (I've updated!). If you need any help with this Desastersoft, I'd be happy to help with correct spelling and phrasing.

All in all a must have and I look forward to 'Channel Battles' in English .

Me to. Love the Dundas expansion and i'm now waiting for the english Channel battles. I asked about it and was told to read about it on SimHQ but there is nothing announced there.
