Darn! I missed this thread. I would have strongly urged you not to go below 24" monitor...24" (at 1920X1200 native res) versus 19" makes a world of difference.
I would have recommended a Samsung SyncMaster 244T. [ It's never too late to do a return/swap, of course : ) ]
