Very little news, info, publishing about SoW?

And maybe we should all remember that it is not up to Oleg. He has his contracts with UBI and as it was said again and again, UBI has not yet agreed to publish informations for various reasons.
One certainly was the fact that there were deals going on between 1C and Atari for publishing, but it seems SoW is not effected by that. But what SoW directly is effected by, are the other simulations that will stand in direct competition. And the less Oleg presents to THEM, the less they know what is going on and where to improve to beat Oleg.

Now, if you can come with only half as many informations about the sequel to CFS or the game Shockwave is working on, than we already got about SoW, I'll gladly join your march. Or what about Knights of the Sky?

As long as there is no information from that side, why do you all demand news, because "we deserve" or something?

All my local games shops have said its not being released and have canceled all pre-orders. I doubt whether this is the case but the original release date was nearly 2 years ago so you cannot blame them for thinking that its dead.

It does seem strange that it has been in development for so many years and still no in game vids or screens. (yes we've seen some, but Oleg his self says it looks much better in game engine). Unless the release is still years away, I think they will find themselves in between no information and the bargain rack.

Word completly agree.
It's as stated abit strange we've really seen so little ingame at all counting that it's been in development for a long long time so it's probably pubishing etc holding em back or their not simply at a stage yet were they feel it's anything to show off which would mean we've still YEARS to wait ^^.

I dont think we will see this game this year, maybe late next year, which means that we will have to wait for the 4.09 official patch for ages. I just wish someone at UBI or even Oleg would tell us the real time status of this sim, i mean its not difficult, all company's have to work to a progress chart or have a deadline, wheres SOW's.

If its not coming this year i hope until late 2009 since im going into military service in January 2009 i wont have much time until my service period ends in December 09

Ive just had a thought, what happened to the SOW Sim Oleg was demonstrating at the computer show in Birmingham UK, this was about 2 years ago, and Oleg did an interview with a guy who was watching Oleg fly about in a Spitfire, i gathered from the interview that the Sim wasn't far off completion, otherwise why show it off at the Computer show? Very strange. Somebodies not telling us something.

Sorry i didn't wanted to seem greedy , Just curious all respect to 1C, UBI and Oleg's Team of developers, anyway what were thoose other titles you mentioned? Got abit curious never heard of em .

Also im really missing a great modern combat sim, we've LOCKON it's gr8 but it has it's years on the neck i.e they've no damage model or 3d cockpits anyone know if there's a modern combat sim in the works as well ?
