It's amazing to me that after a decade of experiencing the IL2 development model, that so many people here have no clue how it works, and how it will apply content additions and game operational fixes to the original title in the series, in this case, Cliffs of Dover.

What is it about the term "merged install" that is so hard to understand?

True, we will likely never see a flyable Defiant or Anson, but, there are other types that have every possibility of being added as the title progresses, ala' the original IL2.

I understand the frustration of our fellow "pilots" from the United Kingdom, as this is their signature air battle, and it holds a special place in their hearts and minds. For much the same reasons I have hoped for a "Flying Tigers" add on, but I am also adult enough to understand that neither the UK nor the USA are the primary market for this series. Russia is, and always will be.

Did that stop us from enjoying the sim in the early days when all we had (except for the P39) were VVS and Luftwaffe aircraft and scenarios? No.

Why should it be any different now?

Deny so much ? guess so ...

They deny IL-2 features ... deny developers words ... then deny what they said ...

Some day they will deny his own existence and then implode

You know what is a lol ?, The patch is vaporware !!

umm ... wait a sec ... is that a deja view ?

lol Carguy, whatever. I love your twist on things. the simple truth is this, if you dont wish to buy any future il2 products then CLOD is dead, you cannot argue with this it is a statement of fact.

Please read the post by ElAurens. If you are unhappy with the IL2 dev business model then you have chosen the wrong game.

Other than that we will have the user development kit.If only CloD gets rid of its performance problems, the kit will give CloD even more.

People are "not buying" that the beta testing found problems? Seriously? Why do you think they test software?

At yet, the real question poisinning me is : "do i still trust 1c ?". As an old IL2 fan, i'd like to say yes but regard what they had perform... i'm in doubt.
Improvement about fps announced, great ! any screenshot of a fly over London with a single fps counter as fraps ? i'm just curious to have a look of it.

Dear Luthier, you and your team gave a lot of time of fun so take your time to release your patch but as for me this is your last bullet.

P.S : fanboys, send me pm as i don't read them ! therefore you may be helpful to the modos to keep the topic clean. Thx.

Well it beats the repeating ' we have encountered a last minute glitch posts'. IMHO.
