Open it mate!

The stuff inside is maybe not up to some people's exacting standards, but it's fun to thumb through and to look at.

I doubt there'll ever be any real value gained by keeping it pristine.

Go on.............you know you want to!

I wasn't that interested in the content of the Collectors edition but bought it just to support the new series. The cost of the collectors edition is minuscule to the possible entertainment value of the new series. Many of us haven't had much entertainment yet, but the performance patch, subsequent features, theaters, longevity game engine design should make this new series far more entertaining than the original.

I purchased Cliffs of Dover through Steam - not all that long ago now -paid full price, but man this looks tempting, I would not mind having the documentation and a printed copy of the manual.

Got my collectors edition today as well and I'm very pleased with it for the price:-

Although I've been none too happy with the state of CloD since release I felt that this was a nice thing to have even though I have the Steam D/L version as well. Here's hoping the new patch will live up to expectations.

Cheers.

I got mugged with this first time around on pre-order....60 quid in all. How much is it now, a fiver? The map is truly appalling but can double as a handy dishcloth (one can never have too many dishcloths lol), manual is so-so, pilot notes completely wrong, with missing and duplicated pages and other glaring discrepancies (IE the wrong aircraft).

Ah well, over it now.....not a big deal. Going straight to download next time on BoM methinks*.

*if i get it....that is. Which I probably will......'Muggins McGraw' is the name, getting bumped is my game.
