Flaps Nuetral, flaps down notifications disappeared- why?

Hi James, I can't think of a particular reason or 'key stroke' that would have turned the info windows off just like that. However, that doesn't mean it
didn't happen that way.

The settings for the windows are contained in the last section (ChatWindow) of the ConfUser.ini which is found in your ... \Documents\1C SoftClub\il-2 sturmovik cliffs of dover.
If you locate this file, open it in Notepad and scroll down to the last section. The original settings for the info windows should read:

The only way I can think of getting the original settings back is copy and paste this over what you have in your corresponding section and saving the file. Please, Please make a copy of your ConfUser.ini in a nice safe place before changing anything ...just in case!

With regard to your OT, you can turn off the aircraft icons from the Main menu click Options > Realism Settings > Visual Aids > No Object Icons and click 'OK'.
