Haunebu, 'au' instead of 'a' - for those like myself who have no idea what that was and have to go check the wikipedia

LOL. I typed it before my first coffee of the day.... never a good idea.
![]() I stand corrected. ![]() I think I was thinking of Haribo for some ridiculous reason. The perils of having the PC next to the television, perhaps? ![]() |

Personally, I never dealt with 'what if' series or thing like 'luftwaffe 46', maybe some aviation artworks attracted me a bit for evocative atmospheres...

No need to apologise. lol Different horses for different courses and all that...
I just think it would be a fun distraction. There is something rather sad, flying for blue team, knowing that no matter what you do..... you ultimately lose. The idea that, if D Day had never happened, or at the very least happened too late, our skies could have been filled with saucer craft is rather fascinating to me. I definitely believe they were considered as a project and, perhaps, even a couple of prototypes were constructed. I draw the line at them being used to spirit the Fuhrer away to a distant star system, mind. ![]() |

Thanks for the link!
![]() I was not aware of this page at all...... and now it is bookmarked. There are some great examples of experimental craft there. " I have personally never seen an actual, real drawing or photograph of any of these purported German flying disks. I would like to believe these were actual built and flown, or at least designed, but until I see otherwise, I'm afraid I must remain skeptical...." A fair analysis of the "Saucer" conundrum though, once one starts looking into such things as the Vril Gesellschaft and their influence on party doctrine.... adds some serious weight to the idea. ![]() Of course it could all be Werwolf propaganda...... |
