The adrenalinic delay time between the trigger pushing and the explosion on the wing of the target.
To take off in the early morning lightening up the intruments.

There is a good taste in little things that let always open the door of the hope.
The problem is that for every bit of good taste there is another bitter.

But let's hope...

Most things have been mentioned already.

I'd like to add: Visual damage model and damage effects (smoke, explosions, flashes, parts falling off, dropping undercarriage, ...), including bullet holes right at the spot where bullet hit.

Well said Majo. +1 to that, and thanks to all of those you mentioned, the work that goes on in the shadows is very much appreciated.

most have been mentioned before but i would like to highlight the 'user generated content' (and all the helpful advice given by those who pass on their findings)- to everyone who has contributed, my heartfelt thanks.

Also, as one of my personal areas of research is instruments, i cannot fail to mention the cockpits

I'm not taking the piss when I say the thing I like most in the sim is its potential. It's early days at the moment, but the sim seems to have so much growing room in it. Otherwise it's just the look of it, the great cockpits, the big sky.

The markings of the planes are individual, customizable and unique. I'm no expert, but it looks that MG did a huge research on groups/squadrons and naming conventions. Again, kudos!

The ground damage model physics, shooting off a hurris wing as it flew low over hawkinge and watch it not explode on impact but hit the ground and slide along before coming to a rest in dust!

Jammy git and very very cool

Very new user here gang, both to CLoD and to the forums here - after spending the last few days trying to read as much as I can on these forums to gain as much knowlege as I can before delving into flying the sim - I must say this is a great thread and a great breath of fresh air for this forum over a lot of what I have been reading.
I have very much enjoyed this thread so far.
