Just saw the series finale last night. I have to say it was very good, but without giving too much away, I was a bit disapointed in the new character they introduced. I knew them from the comics and I can't really see them fitting in to the show as they're a bit too 'comic-booky' and the show seems to be based more around (relative) realism. We'll have to see how they play it in the next season though. Can't wait!

Been wondering when someone would pick up a Katana!

I think I'd better hit youtube to findout the correct usage before the ZA hits and takes down the internet! My Hanwei SH6001KPE has been gathering too much dust!

The first part of the second series ends with the 7th episode... we are talking about the end of that entire series (13th episode).

The Sophia barn scene was the mid-season finale, the season finale was Sunday.

I was pretty disappointed with the final battle. I can't imagine who would possibly think Herschell's static fusillade with his magic shotgun of infinite ammo was even the least bit exciting.

Also, when did everyone become Delta Force/Spetznaz level snipers?

And what's up with Jimmy's death? I wonder if they simply forgot to include him in next season's scripts and didn't realize it until the actor asked when he would be receiving them! They were then forced to write up his end scene the day of filming.

Finally, would it hurt anything to add a little recoil?!?!?!?! I gave them a break when Rick shot the fat dude in the bar because it was an interior scene. But out in the open??? Come on!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

And now, for the big one.....

JUST RUN THE F$%K#$S OVER WITH THE TRUCKS!!!!! No need to be hauling a$$ and break the radiator (or more importantly, the A/C condenser). Just us one vehicle as the "bait" and line up the walkers following it down the road. Then simply cruise up slowly from behind with the RV and grind 'em up.

I'll shut-up now.

I totally agree with all of that. Looking back on it the series finale was totally underwhelming for me (that's only my opinion though, the missus loved it except for the character introduction issue I mentioned earlier)

The only thing I'd disagree with though is about running them over. You'd have to hit them with enough speed to cause serious trauma to their heads. I'm not even sure those old pieces of junk could get up to that kind of speed But even if they could, you wouldn't be and to kill many zombies before you totalled the car and smashed the windscreen turning you into a sort of zombie-buffet

EDIT: About Jimmy though, how did they even get in the RV? Did he leave the door open, did they open it, or did they come in through the windows or something? It all happened very fast so I didn't really get what had happened fully.

Meh...

I hate so much Rick's family: Lori is one of the most stupid wife/mother I've ever seen and their child needs to be beaten every day since he's so naughty.

It's sad that my favourite character is gone...

Anyway I agree that this kind of zombies are really "stupid" NOW... In the first episode, when they smelled the horse Rick was riding I remember that they were running very fast.

Now they kill these monsters so easily that I ask what kind of soldiers were in Atlanta.

Still the Sophia/barn episode is the best one IMO.
