I don't think they are after the IL-2 community
directly which in size is like an ant compared to the elephant that is the World of Tanks community for example. The "instant battle button" crowd is faaar bigger than any sim community and that's the people they want. I think it's more like MG -or 1c rather- that wants the "instant button crowd". They (1C) have seen how successful World of Tanks is and they want in on the action. What I meant by picking up the scraps was that CloD will attract player from these other "sims" when they have grown fatigued of the shallowness and sameyness of said "sims".
CloD or the sequels will never have over 20.000 players playing online at the same time on a Friday night. If we start to see CloD servers packed with more than a thousand players at the same time then I'd say it's a success for MG and I will be really happy if that happens sooner rather than later.
