The old girl has all the bells and whistles and if it wasn't for the promise of youth (even with all its pimples!) we would be still singing her praises. But after sampling the new it is hard to go back. Sure, the youth requires you to have youthful hardware, old guys need not apply - they just can't cut it. So for the old guys stick to 46. Plenty of 46 admirers still out there and it will probably always have some sort of life in our squad events. Let's hope the next patch will do the business and sort out the blemishes.

almost exclusively 1946 for me, variety of planes and smooth reliable performance online are the clinchers.

Still play Il-2 1946 because of SEOWs and the War-Birds_FH server. CloD needs a bit of work until we can fully migrate. But I play it to test all the nice things in it.

Option 4 for me,
after a hard fight with myself, i decided to unistall 1946. CLOD is for me the better sim for the future, and after playing it more than 10 years it was time to say goodbye. Hopefully in the next weeks we will get the new patch for CLOD and then maybe it rocks.  Over and out
