you need to pick the Video x800/9200/9600/9800 setting then it should let you pick perfect. this settings can be found in the il2settings.exe the icon with the sledg hammer.
As for the clouds you can run them in Detailed also just so you guys know anything over 9600 should run in perfect with all setting on and that also increases your FPS. I run a dual x1600 ATI set up and have all the eye candy on and get 50 to 90 FPS.8.3 drivers. The Catylyst AI is in the 3D setings. yes you need to install the catylyst controler.

Yes, get the package with the control Center. I am not sure what disabling AI will do, you can try that. You can disable AI in the control center under 3D->all settings. When Control center starts for the fist time, make sure you chose advanced mode. Also, when you fly with TIR make sure that vSync is enabled, you will lose FPS but that would prevent texture ripping, pawning will be much smoother. |

In the control center under 3d->all settings set "Wait for vertical sync" to always on.

Quick question for everyone...I've been trying these DLLs out for a few weeks now and they are nearly flawless except for one thing. In the FMB when you activate the destruction feature none of the colored areas indicating the status of that block comes up...instead its just opaque.
Everyone else experiencing that or is it just me? I read through some other posts but didn't see that mentioned. |

I am having exactly the same problem Icefire - the whole map 'whites-out' when activating the destruction levels, though destruction seems to work ok during a ground attack mission?
I would be interested to know if the DLL's have caused this change, or is it a different set-up? DFLion |
