First thoughts:
intro okay, if a little slow.
How you depicted the Mans last seconds - very , very good idea, close up and personal.
The memory flashes, the restricted Field of View, the thoughts about a wasted life, a struggle that led to nothing except death - good. It brings Essence to the Message you convey.
o fortuna... dark, good. a bit loud maybe.

The shooting... icons take away a lot of the feel
Effects: dark clouds disturb the Viewer, alert him and prepare him that this is not going to be a fun movie at all.
Well in line with your "all in vain" message.
also liked the red tulip, red like blood, red like death...

Outro: technically okay, but too long again, maybe cut that shorter, and display more credits at one time on the screen.

In one sentence: keep up the Pilots View stuff, the personal element, and the serious message. Cut the Icons, and maybe show us some more flying, and less intro/outro.
Disturbing little Video that reminded me that people actually DIED in those planes.
