What I have been trying to do is use the games coding to fix things. What I find most useful is the stripes and swass markings then you can use the games engine to generate all the individual markings and use the record button to save the skins. That way we can recreate proper events using the whole squadron..

Hi Matthew
Cheers mate.
Good Luck, sounds a bit to technical for Me
Try Putting the "Default.jpg" skin into Games Root Skins folder and NOT 1C Softclub Skins folder.
I found this Thread and was wondering if it might help

Hi Kieth
Yes that's helpful. However I tried it and that didn't work. I named the skin default and when you play the quick mission it didn't work in the case of the Ju88A. I may have done something wrong but I had it in both folders just in case. Obviously it would work in 'Mission Builder' because it allows you to select a skin. That's why though its better to have the skins without the cross's etc because then the skin can be used as a default skin. I'm trying to add screen shots to show you what I mean. The only letter that could be left on is the individual letter because I haven't found the letter with a thin white outline. Even with the blank skin though all the squadron codes can be used even the werk numbers if known. And it doesn't interfer with the graphics in anyway. Oh as a point of interest can you create a default night mission skin and add the blackened over crosses on we could then remove the section in the text file and allow the games engine to generate the squadron codes. In that instance have the crosses is a bonus. Kieth can you email me.

Hi Matthew
The only prob I see with the night mission Ju88 is that they tended to be solid nosed C-2/C-4 Variant, but if you can find an A-1 version in might scheme then please send a picture.
And did you say you wanted the crosses painted out?
Also will send you a Default Standard Blank skin with
only Tail swastika's and NO other Markings.
I am at work at the moment but will get them to you
ASAP.
Regards
Keith
