I tried to play in that resolution 1920*1080 just to see how will it work and didnt have any problems. My graphic card did overheat fast and got a bit slow in playing, but didnt have any distortion in picture.
How is your screen in other games/applications ? If only place you have this problems is KB game, maybe it`s some bug but if you have similar problems is other games then it`s your monitor/graphic card
