Afterburner shows my both gpu's working, have you tryed.

Sure, both my GTX 480s are working but I don't get a framerate increase. If I force any particular SLI mode I get bad stuttering. SLI and XFire are broken.

So it's maybe scaling problem then, did your GPU's goes over 50% stress?
