I think the one I have used for the last couple of years cost me about £10, a replacement for my £100 Sennheissers that died (the second set that did that!)
The only thing I would like on them is a mute button for Krupi...

Go for the Rocat Kave 5.1 mate, great headset, great proce and great writeups too!

A squad mate recently took his g35 back and exchanged it for the Kaves and said they were a much better headset.

They completely cover the ear which isolates any background noise, it also has a nice base driver that massages the ear

Cant recommend them enough

TrackIR is a head tracking unit. When you turn your head, etc. it translates this into games such as COD.

Track IR is a piece of hardware that allows you to move your head in the game in relation to moving your head in the game I.e. you move your head 30 degrees to the left and your head in the game will look 90 degrees to the left

hi,

i am using a hifi headphone from sennheiser hd500, it souns better than any gaming headset u will get out there. and i had got lots of them here like medusa & co, but i will never use them again. i buyed it like 10 years ago for dj'ing for ~ 200 DM and it is still 1000 times better than anything what is offert as a "gaming" headset today.

cheers
